Jim K. Gores has lived nearly his entire life in Wyoming, much of it spent pursing the myriad of outdoor activities the West has to offer. At the age of sixteen, Jim discovered that through photography he could communicate his great love for the stunning beauty of nature.

Now a professional photographer residing in Jackson, Wyoming, Jim continues to pursue images that convey the essence and mood of natural spaces. His work has graced the pages of USA Today, Nature's Best, Outdoor Explorer, Highways Magazine, Southwest Airlines Spirit Magazine, Smithsonian Tours, Log Home Design Ideas, Wyoming Wildlife and various other national, collegiate and private publications.

Jim's photography has received numerous national, regional and local awards including First Place for Portfolio of Work from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association of New York. In addition, Jim is the owner and operator of his own publishing company, which produces and distributes postcards, posters and greeting cards featuring his work and that of other prominent professionals. Jim has presented workshops for the Snake River Institute of Jackson Hole, the University of Wyoming Extended Studies Department, Central Wyoming College, and the National Council on Marketing and Public Relations.
