Ordering Stock Photography

If a photo is available in multiple formats, please specify the format you prefer, e.g. - digital photo vs a slide photo. Orders for slide photos usually ship within 24 hours but may be turned around the same day if requested by 12:00 MST. Federal Express is our carrier, unless otherwise specified, and the client is billed for shipping. Digital photo requests are shipped on a CD (Mac Format unless otherwise specified) or can be downloaded from our public FTP server. * Note - Orders where images need to be scanned larger then a two page bleed take an extra 24 hours to complete.

Before calling or emailing for a price of an image, please be sure you know the following:
- ID# of Photograph
- Photo Size/Format
- Photo Placement
- Distribution/Circulation

Pricing
We like to send a custom quote per each request. Rather than structuring a set pricing plan for our stock photos. We will work with you to establish a fee structure specific to your request.

Rights
Internet Usage:
All photography for internet usage is for one year. Renewal notices will be sent via email at the end of the rental period. Expanded rights and exclusivity are available upon request.

Digital Downloads
We are constantly expanding our digital library of stock photos, but at this time only certain images and photos in our collection have been scanned at a high enough resolution for print use. These photos are marked with the largest digital file currently available. Photographs in our collection can be scanned to requested specifications and saved as a digital file, which can then be downloaded via FTP or delivered on a CD. The standard scanning fee is $20 per photo. * Note - we only have the ability to scan film images, submissions we have labeled "Digital Only" might be limited to the file size indicated for that image.

Use this chart as a reference to determine what print size (inches) can be reproduced form a 300dpi digital file (mb).

2”x2” = 2 mb
3”x5” = 5.40mb
5”x8” = 14.4mb
8.5”x11"= 33.6mb
12”x16” = 69.1mb


Submission Terms
Submissions of original 35mm, 120mm, 4x5, or 6x7 formats may be reviewed for a 30-day period, at which time we ask for the return of any photographs not still under consideration for your project. We maintain a strict $1,500.00 minimum replacement value on any original images that are lost or damaged.
