Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
With the greatest sustained vertical drop, 4,128 feet, in the United States Jackson Hole Mountain resort is world famous for it powder, its steeps, and its wide open bowls and glades. More recently the open gate policy has opened up the backcountry for some incredible skiing out of bounds.

Grand Targhee Summer & Winter Resort
It may not be the biggest resort in the area, but what Grand Targhee lacks in size it more than makes up for in snow. Annually, Targhee receives over 500 inches of Mother Nature’s best white stuff. If Jackson Hole gets a foot of powder, there’s no doubt Targhee will have twice that.

Snow King Resort
Just a few blocks from Jackson’s famous town square, Snow King Resort is small but mighty. Three lifts and one surface tow serve a variety of terrain, including one run, Upper Exhibition, rumored to be the steepest inbounds run on the continent.
